BIO

I began playing guitar when I was 10 years old. I fell in love the moment I learned my first chord and have made music a priority ever since. My first experience playing in a high school rock band opened my eyes to the joy of sharing and creating music with others. The fostering of community, the knowledge gained, and the wonder of performing. I also began to explore other instruments and soon transitioned to playing drums. I’ve had the pleasure of keeping the beat for many different projects over the past 20 years, playing a wide variety of shows in and around The Gorge. In my mid 20’s I bought my first upright piano and was hooked immediately. I have spent the last 13 years gaining proficiency and writing songs with this wonderful instrument. I moved to Hood River from Goldendale in 2015, searching for more musical opportunities. I haven’t been disappointed. I love the vibrant and inclusive community of artists here and am so happy to call Hood River my home. The Underground Music Station has provided me the chance to begin sharing the skills I’ve developed over the past 25 years. Doing what I can to guide people of all ages along their musical journey has brought me joy and fulfillment beyond what I could have imagined. It would be an honor to be a small part of yours.
